draft 0133 – saying 'like I said' is just rude.
You when you are having a conversation with somebody for whatever it may be, like a interview. They will say 'like I said. Now, to me that just sounds rude.
It’s like they are saying that you should have remembered what they said and that it is unacceptable. Like you are stupid. Imagine somebody says to you 'like | said', it sounds like how dare you forget what I said.
I’m thinking that is such a rude thing to say and it shouldn’t be used at all. I have always had a issue with this phrase being used. Like, before I didn’t really understand why, but now I do.
It’s like people just don’t care anymore about what rude means and what is acceptable. Yes, I can be rude, but I try not to be. It’s like people today just don’t care about it and if they are being rude. It is becoming a prevalent issue.
Anyway, saying ‘like I said’ is just rude.
So, I’ll be back on Sunday afternoon at 1pm.
See you then, drafters.
