draft 0132 – when you try so much to protect something.

draft 0132 – when you try so much to protect something.

You know what’s funny? When you try so hard to keep something from getting damaged and trying actually makes it worse.

Let’s say you get a new phone and you unbox it. Then, you put a case on it (I hope you do). Some people will constantly try their best to protect their phone at all costs.

What I have noticed from this is that when you try your best to protect something valuable that much, you end up breaking it. Now, I have noticed when you don’t try and protect it, guess what? It doesn’t break.

That is just mind-boggling to me. This is like reverse psychology. Doing the opposite of what you think will work, but in this case, it works, doing the opposite.

Anyway, I am talking about because I just got a new phone and started using it yesterday, and put a case on it. Then, somebody said to me, make you protect your phone. I was thinking the more I try to protect it, the more it will just break.

I just don’t want that unnecessary stress of thinking is it broken, will it break?

So, I’ll be back on Friday evening at 10pm.

See you then, drafters.
