draft 0104 - why don’t people like to take criticism?
In today’s world, people just don’t like to be criticised or told what to do. It’s not just a generational problem, it is a societal problem. This is a problem and it needs to change. If nobody can be criticised then how can we improve as human beings?
It’s like as soon as you say something negative about someone or something, they don’t like it at all. When in reality, you are actually just trying to help them, but obviously they don’t think about that.
I’m sorry to say this, but it is just all about yourself nobody cares about anybody else and their problems. I do believe that these problems are destroying us.
If we can eradicate this problem, then a lot of good can come out of it. Like, if somebody were to give me criticism or advice, I would love to hear it. Now, I’m not saying that I don’t sometimes get stuck in the same situation, but I know it’s wrong.
People will also take advice as a form of criticism. I’m like really, are you something high and mighty? That nobody can tell you what to do, or criticise? Well your not that high and mighty. This needs to change.
Anyway, I think I should stop writing now, before too many emotions get dragged into it. The point I am making is that people snap out of it when you criticise them.
So, I’ll be back on Sunday afternoon at 1pm.
See you then, drafters.
