draft 0096 – the headache of having too many clothes.

draft 0096 – the headache of having too many clothes.

So, I recently just got a build-in wardrobe for my room and it made me think that do I really need all these clothes? Like the week before the installation of the wardrobe, I was declutterring my previous wardrobe and got rid of a lot of clothes.

So, when I had the new wardrobe and a reduced amount of clothes, It gave me a peace of mind, that I don’t need to remember everything in my wardrobe. That sense of relief is so beautiful and amazing.

Also, having less just makes picking your outfit out so much easier because you don’t have to really think about everything that you have. With less, you can pick an outfit quicker and less stressful for your brain. I know some of you might be thinking that I am overthinking all this, but I’m not, this is a big deal (this could save the world, ok writer I think you are taking this too far. fine I will stop, boring).

Ok, so I am going to change my clothes to a more simple wardrobe with less clothes. I was thinking about it like this, I would have at one black jeans, at least two blue jeans, a trousers or chinos and then a blue, black and grey joggers. So that’s the lower part of the body done.

For the upper part of the body, I was thinking 4 hoodies, 3 sweatshirts, 4 t-shirts, 4 long sleeve shirts and 4 jackets. Yes, I think this will work. So, that means I would have a total of 26 items of clothing excluding underwear, socks and other things.

Anyway, the point is that too many clothes is a headache, but when you reduce it to what you actually need, then it actually becomes a nice headache. Wait, does that make sense? A nice headache? I think so. Let me know what you think about that.

So, I’ll be back on Wednesday afternoon at 1pm.

See you then, drafters.
