draft 0090 – when you let your emotions fully develop.

draft 0090 – when you let your emotions fully develop.

You know when you let your emotions fully develop in a moment. Like, for example, today I had the emotion of frustration or was it annoyance? I’m not quite sure, but you will still get the point (I hope) and it completely consumed me. I couldn’t even think to myself, is it really that big of a deal?

So, after an hour or two from the event, I then thought about what had happened before and realised what was all the fuss about. Nothing even happened at all.

Ok, so now getting to the point (I know you are probably wondering didn’t I just make the point), it is just amazing to me how one emotion can be so powerful in changing your thinking that quickly.

I need to find a way of being able to think, while I am experiencing that particular emotion at that time. Then, think is this reaction really going to do anything, if not try to forget about it. Now that I have just written this, I’m starting to think maybe this is too difficult, but I am determined to try.

Anyway, today’s draft was just about how amazing an emotion can change your way of thinking so quickly, that it prevents you from reacting to situation like you normally would. It’s like you have a choice if I let the emotion develop then I have to with my thinking changing for those particular moments.

So, I’ll be back on Friday evening at 10pm.

See you then, drafters.
