draft 0123 – a unusual thought I had recently.

I had quite a unusual thought recently. It was about when I used to listen to music. I always used to listen to the girly side of pop music. I’m not saying there is anything wrong with that (I liked it too),but I am a guy so it seem weird to others.

But, I don’t think it is just me who listens to the girly side of pop music. I think it is just popular that side of pop music, that is way we listen to it. Or, is it because men like to the sound of a woman’s voice? I definitely think that is the case.

You listen to what you are attracted to. No, it doesn’t have to be sexual attraction. It could be anything.

Anyway, as I am a Muslim, we don’t listen to secular music. This is because the music has a very bad effect on the soul and corrupts it.

Now, this doesn’t mean that all music is bad. It means some music is bad. Like, if you think about it, everything that is mentioned in secular music goes completely against the teachings of religion.

I must say it was different myself to stop listening to secular music. But, I did and it was worth it. Music is one of those that can have a positive effect on your soul too.

So, that was my unusual thought I had recently.
