draft 0121 – does saying I don’t care actually mean you don’t care?

Is it true that when people actually say I don’t care they actually mean it, I think not. I don’t believe that when people say they don’t care they actually mean it.

There are many ways to tell, whether that be tone, body language, facial expressions, or anything else. It is just the phrase I don’t care that just doesn’t feel real, like you will never actually mean it.

For example, let’s say you are talking about somebody who has done something and it is getting to you. Then, you hear those words, I don’t care, they are actually being used because you do care.

So, if I really want to know if somebody cares about something, just try and wait for those words I don’t care and you will know. It can also help you know other emotions they are feeling like irritation.

Anyway, does saying I don’t care actually mean you don’t care? I don’t think so.

So, I’ll be back on Sunday afternoon at 1pm.

See you then, drafters.
